This coin is graded a perfect MS70 by PCGS and is a First Strike. Silver Panda coins were introduced by the Chinese Mint in 1983, and have been a popular collectible ever since for their changing reverse panda imagery. In 2016, the series changed over to metric weight measurements. This 30 gram 2018 Silver Panda, formerly known as the 1 oz. silver bullion coin, is struck from 0.9645 troy ounce of .999 fine silver and measures 40mm in diameter. The new Panda design for 2018 is featured on the reverse. It displays a large protrait of a panda eating a bamboo shoot. The coin’s face value “10 Yuan” appears at the bottom, with “30g Ag .999” inscribed at the top.
