Some even purchase software designed specifically for coin cataloging. Whatever method you use, it is important to examine each coin carefully and note all of the essential details. This should include each coin’s country of origin, series, denomination, mint mark and quality. It is also a good idea to include the coin’s third-party grading service information, if applicable.
