Generally, a coin collecting machine has a housing for receiving coins. It may be in an open position or it may have a door for access to the back of the machine.
The coin collecting machine may also have a handle storage device. This can be placed on a shelf or cabinet within the machine. The handle may be attached to the handle storage device or may be detached. The handle may also be attached to the machine’s wheels.
The coin handling device is designed to be retrofitted to existing coin counting devices. Its main feature is that it operates automatically upon the insertion of a coin bin. It may be designed to handle a single coin bin or multiple bins. It may also include controls for adjusting the angular position of the rotor assembly. This allows the caisse to adjust the size and denomination of coins distributed.
The coin handling device includes a lid with two coin ports. One port is for small coins and the other is for large coins. The coin apertures are placed on the lid so that coins are evenly distributed in the bin.
A fill tray assembly is also included. It has an elongate sliding element that extends through a slot in the lid. The sliding element is also held in place by a spring loaded plunger. The spring loaded plunger prevents the user from sliding the element in the opposite direction.
A motor driven funnel assembly is also included. It includes an upper funnel 62 and a lower funnel 66. Coins inserted into the coin chute 14 are directed through the funnel and into ports 68, 70, 72, and 74.
