Coin Collecting Tubes
Various kinds of coin-collecting tubes are available. They are usually made of cardboard and covered in kraft paper. Some are customized and have a locking pin or two in the base plate. They have a slot to insert coins or change, and some are permanently sealed. Those that are removable should be carefully inspected before use. However, they should not be used as long-term storage for valuable coins, as the chance of accidentally removing one is high.
Coin banks are constructed from cardboard and wood pulp. These materials are combined with adhesives and caps to make them durable. After completing the process, the tubes are sealed with a special sealant. This seals in the moisture and helps prevent the coins from evaporating. These tube dispensers are designed to dispense coins from a distance without affecting the incoming coin. They are ideal for storing loose change and can be easily moved to other locations.
The ejecting element pushes the lowermost coin out of the tube. The coin is transferred to a return channel or to the coin track. The coins in the tube must be oriented toward the return channel. The locking pin may be supported movably parallel to the rotational axis of the rotor. It may be inserted into the recess by means of a follower or similar device which cooperates with the control grooves.
