Coin collecting is a fun hobby that can teach kids about the value of money. It can also teach children how to organize their collections. The key to successful organizing is having a place to catalog your collection and a way to keep track of the value of each coin. Collect a set of currently circulating U.S. coins, including one of each denomination (cent, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar and dollar).
